On Sunday, November 14, we’re launching this year’s Christmas Gift outreach! Be sure to pick up all the information and materials at your campus, as let’s get started sharing the love and hope of Jesus with our communities.

This year, Christmas Gift is all about relationships. As we come out of a season where many of our connections with others have been less close, we want to help bring people closer together.

We realize that poverty comes in many different forms. Christmas Gift has historically been about helping people in financial poverty, but as we emerge from a global pandemic, there is great relational, emotional, and spiritual poverty as well. Many people’s relationships and connections faded or disappeared, and we want to bring hope into those situations with gifts, quality time and encouraging words.

This year, we’re expanding Christmas Gift to help restore some of the benefits of building relationships. We want you to reach out to the people in your neighborhoods, your workplaces, your schools, your communities, and encourage someone who is having a difficult time financially or relationally.

In addition to sharing acts of generosity with others, you can also help support under-served people in our communities by serving with our partner organizations, or giving a financial gift to the Christmas Gift outreach to help support them. To give financially, choose “Christmas Gift 2021” when you give online or write “Christmas Gift 2021” on the memo line of your check.

Not sure what to do, or who to reach out to? Pray about it, and get some inspiration from our list of suggestions in the informational booklet. It’s also a great activity for small groups to do together.

When you complete an act of generosity, we want you to let us know, and hang a red ornament on the tree(s) at your campus, as a symbol of all the lives we’re touching this Christmas. There are cards you can complete at your campus, or you can complete our online form, and we’ll hang up an ornament for you:

TELL US: Share about your experience participating in Christmas Gift

We also have cards available for you to leave with the people you reach out to. The cards read, “Just a simple way to show you God’s love” and have a link to an encouraging message on the back. These cards are available at your campus, or if you’re unable to pick them up, you can request that some be mailed to you:

REQUEST CARDS: Let us know if you’d like some cards mailed to you
