Indonesia is country with very little access to the gospel. We want to be a part of changing that.
On Sunday, March 11, we welcomed Dr. Andy and Lora Brake, two of our global staff members who serve at the Jaffray Bible College and Seminary in Indonesia, where they teach and train young Indonesian leaders in areas like theology, Christian education and counseling. Their students are preparing to serve as pastors, church planters and educators throughout Indonesia, spreading the hope of Jesus in a country where so few know it.
Their education, however, doesn’t come without a cost, which is a significant barrier for many Indonesians. Tuition to complete a bachelor’s degree at the seminary is over $1,000, but the average Indonesian day laborer makes only about $4 per day. Most students come from lower-income families and aren’t able to work while studying full time.
That’s why we’re raising money to provide scholarships for Indonesians attending the seminary. We want to make it as easy as possible for them to be equipped to spread the gospel throughout Indonesia, so thousands more people can find hope.
You can impact the future of Indonesia by giving a financial gift to this year’s missions giving project. There are three ways to give:
Let’s help raise up young leaders who will raise up the name of Jesus in Indonesia!
