It's time for Christmas Gift!
If you’ve been around Fairhaven for a while, you know this is the time of year we collect Christmas gifts for families in difficult financial situations. Through this annual outreach, we can bless under-served children with Christmas presents and bless their parents with the opportunity to shop for them at a Christmas Store full of the gifts you provide. It's an amazing way we get to help people find hope at Christmas.
As you might expect, things are a little different this year, but these changes are ones we're actually excited about!
First, there are no bins! This will cut down on the spread of germs, but also makes it easy for anyone, anywhere to participate. Instead of picking up a bin, just follow our provided instructions (below) for what kinds of gifts to buy, and bring the items to your campus by December 13. Or, you can shop online and ship them there!
Second, in addition to the Christmas Store in Dayton, each campus is hosting its own store this year! This means we’ll have FIVE different Christmas stores in FIVE different communities! Many of the gifts you buy will stay in your community, going to the under-served people who are our neighbors. And as we serve people in our own community, it gives us the opportunity to develop relationships and continue serving them year-round.
To participate, read the instructions below, download them to your phone, and bring or ship your items to your campus by Sunday, December 13.`
Please deliver all items to your campus by Sunday, December 13.
