Did you know that a bed can help keep a child out of the foster care system? For a child to receive a kinship placement (relative or someone connected to the family), they need to have their own bed.

Our CarePortal Connection Teams help meet these needs by meeting at the Centerville Campus once a month to deliver beds and connect with under-served families in our community. The teams are made up of people who deliver and assemble beds, and people who talk and pray with the families.

Not only are we helping to meet a practical need, but this time of connection also gives us an opportunity to invite the families to visit Thrive Together for dinner and classes to help them learn new skills.

CarePortal Connection Day is a great serving opportunity for your small group!
