We are pleased to share that Fairhaven Church has been certified by the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA). The certification is based on the ECFA Seven Standards of Responsible Stewardship™, including financial accountability, transparency, sound board governance and ethical fundraising.

“We are pleased to certify a church committed to help people to find the hope Jesus offers and grow in a relationship with him,” said Dan Busby, president of ECFA.

As Fairhaven continues to grow, ECFA accreditation helps us to communicate to our congregation the commitment we have made at the leadership level to steward every dollar donated with integrity and excellence. As our vision for impacting the kingdom of God continues to expand with a growing passion for helping people to find hope in Jesus, we are excited to partner with the ECFA,” said David Smith, Lead Pastor.

When an organization is certified by ECFA, it demonstrates its willingness to follow the model of biblical accountability. Fairhaven joins a growing number of Christ-centered churches and ministries across America, supported by over 27 million donors that have earned the right to display the ECFA seal.

ECFA, founded in 1979, provides certification to leading Christian nonprofit organizations that faithfully demonstrate compliance with the ECFA Standards pertaining to financial accountability, fundraising and board governance.
