Set up automatic transfers from your checking account to your savings or investment accounts. Automation ensures that savings are a consistent priority.
Review goals periodically and adjust percentage accordingly
Aim to raise it by another percentage point every few months or annually.
Consult a financial advisor
For those with more complex financial situations or investment goals, seeking advice from a financial advisor can be beneficial. They can provide personalized guidance.
