Christmas can be complicated: not only are there presents to buy for your loved ones, but there’s the feeling of obligation to buy things for coworkers and neighbors. After all, they’ll buy something for you! Yet, obligation shouldn’t be part of Christmas. We give gifts because we love people! Christmas began with love! John the Apostle says that God GAVE because he LOVED. So, perhaps we should give a gift back to God. What would we give? Joseph, in the Christmas story, shows us some great ways to give back to God.
