After the resurrection, the disciples went back to what they knew, but it left them empty. In John 21, we see that even with experience, effort, and success, life apart from Jesus still comes up short. Let’s consider what we run to for identity, comfort, or control, and how Jesus meets us there, calling us back to a life of purpose, restoration, and fullness with Him.
