He joined the staff at Fairhaven in June 2013 as the Springboro Campus Pastor. Jared has a passion for making disciples, developing leaders in the church, ministering to the hurting, and helping people connect in local community.
Jared married his wife Jacqueline in 2002, and they have three energetic boys. He grew up in Wilmington, Ohio, and loves rooting for Buckeye football and basketball. His hobbies include playing any sport he can find (basketball, tennis, water sports), hiking local and national parks, and coaching his sons’ sports teams. He enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, especially if it involves a cookout!

I love the heart and vision of helping people “find hope” no matter where they are in life. I enjoy the passionate worship, teaching of God’s Word and opportunities to grow in genuine relationships with other believers. I am excited to help build God’s kingdom in Springboro and reach the community for Christ, while still being connected to Fairhaven as one church.
“Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:13-14
I grew up in an amazing Christian home with loving parents who always taught me and encouraged me to follow Jesus. But I was the “Prodigal Son” who went out west and decided to live my life apart from Christ. I soon realized that the world and its desires were only a “counterfeit” to the unconditional grace and enduring truth I could only find in Jesus Christ. Slowly the Lord began to “draw me back to Him”, and at the age of 21 I surrendered my life to Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Three days later I was baptized at Fairhaven, and my spiritual journey began. I met my amazing wife in college and then moved out to California to pursue a career in advertising. Along the way, I realized I had more passion for ministry than marketing, and the Lord opened a door to full-time pastoral work. The rest is history.
