As the Director of Central Operation, Ryan provides strategic leadership and direction for the overall operations of the church, oversees the Finance, Team Development, Communications, IT and Data Insights, and Facilities teams, and leads church-wide initiatives related to leadership development, stewardship, and generosity.
Ryan married Christin in 2006, and they have three kids. Ryan was born and raised in the suburbs of Kansas City and cheers for all things Kansas – Chiefs, Royals, and Jayhawks. He enjoys connecting with the local community through coaching youth basketball and finds great joy (most of the time) in tackling home renovation projects. And while it’s hardly a hobby farm, he has a few acres and a barn, which is home to his wife’s beloved Nigerian dwarf goats.
He has a Bachelor of Arts in Finance and Accounting from Cedarville University and a Master of Business Administration from Wright State University. He is also a Certified Financial Planner (CFP). Prior to joining the Fairhaven staff in 2012, he was an Acquisition Program Manager in the US Air Force (civil servant) and worked as a personal financial advisor.
