Bio

In February 2010, Doug Carroll joined the staff as the Northmont Campus Pastor at Fairhaven’s first additional campus located in the Englewood/Clayton area. As a Campus Pastor, Doug helps to carry out the overall vision of Fairhaven Church as it relates to the Northmont community, including shepherding the church family at his campus and overseeing the campus staff and ministries. Doug’s heart for the Northmont community and strong desire for authentic relationships make him uniquely suited for this ministry.

Doug and his wife, Amy, have been blessed with three wonderful daughters, Lydia, Hope and Anna Grace. When he’s not working, Doug enjoys listening to music, reading, traveling, spending time with his family, and watching mixed martial arts and other adrenaline-inducing sports.

Why?

I became interested in Fairhaven through the opportunity of being the Campus Pastor at Fairhaven Northmont. I listened to the vision of expanding the Kingdom of God by reaching out and creating satellite campuses. Creating these satellite campuses would allow us to reach further into the world with the Good News that Jesus loves us and wants to have a relationship with us. That is what it is all about. I love the positive, motivational, challenging, and loving feel that there is among the staff too.

Verse

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.” Ephesians 2:8

Faith

I grew up in a Pastor’s home and had the most awesome examples of Jesus in my parents. Even though at a young age I accepted Jesus and was baptized I walked way away from God. It is definitely true that the Shepherd will leave the 99 sheep that are safe in his care to go and find the one that was lost … because he came after me. It was as a young adult that God’s pursuit after me came to an end when I turned to Him and asked Jesus into my heart. I will never forget that moment because it is only by His grace that any of us can come.
